Myopax Profile and its Role in Fibromyalgia
Myopax is an externally
applied non-prescription product which can
help ease a number of symptoms frequently
reported by fibromyalgia sufferers such as
muscle tightness, muscle spasm and
generalised muscular aches.
Myopax has been designed, using natural
compounds, to help muscular relaxation.
Myopax literally means “muscle peace”.
Myopax is very pleasant to use and does not
contain steroids, local anaesthetic
compounds or any tranquiliser-type
compounds.
Myopax is currently being used by
fibromyalgia patients in a number of ways:
-
light massage
with Myopax can ease muscular tightness and
strains.
-
Myopax can be
used with balneotherapy (bath therapy) by
adding a few drops to
a warm bath (see Myopax Product
Information).
-
Myopax can be
applied just before bedtime to help with a
routine which improves
sleep.
-
Myopax can be
used as a light pre-exercise massage to help
make exercise a little
easier. A number of studies show the
benefits of exercise in fibromyalgia.
-
Myopax may be
used in specialised massage such as trigger
point “release”
massage for myofascial pain syndrome, a
condition suffered by many fibromyalgics.
New information regarding
the microscopic muscle damage model of
fibromyalgia supports a new generation of
“muscle focused” treatments. Myopax is part
of this scientifically based quest for
“muscle peace”.
